The University is located on a beautiful 145-hectare campus in the heart
of Canberra, the nation's capital.

Staff and Students
The University has over 3,500 staff. This figure includes 500 academic
research and teaching staff and more than 800 academic staff whose time
is devoted entirely to research.
There are more than 12,000 students enrolled at ANU, including 3,600 postgraduates,
of whom 1,400 are studying for a PhD. The University has more than 2,000
overseas students, representing nearly 100 countries.
