Khon Kaen University (KKU) is one of public universities in Northeastern Thailand. It was established in 1964 as a part of decentralized development plan for higher education in Thailand. The campus covers approximately 900 hectares. To date, Khon Kaen University is home to sixteen faculties, nine affiliated institution. Currently the number of student is approximately 22,000 (including 3,000 postgraduates and over 100 students from overseas). At present, there are more than 250 study programs offered in Khon Kaen University including Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degree programs. For the majority of undergraduate studies, the language of instruction is Thai. For the graduate studies, the language of instruction are both Thai and English. |
